What is Calcium Sulphate?

Our Calcium Sulphatealso known as Gypsum is a very high quality powder with a very fine grain size. It is also sometimes called Gesso. Calcium sulfate is a naturally occurring calcium salt. It is used in bread making to implement consistency, to stabilize and as a leavening agent. It is also used to regulate acidity levels. It is an important source of calcium and is often added to tofu recipes to increase its content and stability. In bread making it is used to reduce the sticky effect of the dough. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, GMO-free, gluten-free.
