Lactic Acid Powder
Our Lactic Acid is a very high quality powder obtained from cane or beet sugar and therefore completely suitable for vegans and for food use. It is normally found in acidic dairy products, such as yogurt, kefir and some cheeses. Lactic acid manages to curdle casein and is also used to make some vegetarian mozzarella and vegan cheeses such as Vrana or vegan butter. It is also responsible for the sour taste of sourdough bread. Lactic acid is used in the production of beer, it increases its body and decreases its pH. It is widely used in cocktails and in modern Mixology to give acidity to drinks. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, without GMOs.
